Anshuman Rath will play for Orissa from the 2021-22 Season

Anshuman Rath will play for the Indian state team Orissa from the 2021-22 season. Former Hong Kong captain Anshuman Rath will play in India’s upcoming domestic cricket. He was compulsorily out of competitive cricket for one year under the terms of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The Indian passport holder will now be able to play as an Indian cricketer. At first, he tried to play for Vidarbha. However, he could not do so due to the cancellation of the 2020-21 season due to the coronavirus epidemic. He will take the field as his birthplace Orissa.

“I was away from competitive cricket for a year,” Rath said of playing for India. At this time I played cricket in Nagpur. I hoped to play as a widower. But when it didn’t work out, I had to find something new. Then I got a chance in Orissa. ‘

Anshuman Rath is currently playing inter-district cricket in Bhubaneswar. He is set to prove himself in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which starts in October.

Anshuman wants to prove himself in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well as the Ranji Trophy. Then he is there to prove himself in IPL.

Anshuman has played 16 ODIs and 20 T20s for Hong Kong. He also captained the Hong Kong team in the 2016 Asia Cup. The Asia Cup was Anshuman’s last international tournament. He decided to retire from Hong Kong cricket after losing the Hong Kong ODI status in 2020.
