BCCI To Remain Hosts Of 2021 T20 World Cup 

Everyone is looking for the answer to the question of where the T20 World Cup will be held this year. The ICC executive committee meeting on Tuesday (June 1) did not reach a decision. Concerning the reverse corona, the ICC placed the responsibility on the shoulders of the host country India. However BCCI to remain hosts of T20 World Cup 2021 regardless where the tournament will be held.

The most important issue at the ICC Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday was to decide on the host country of the World Cup. However, the ICC has given India 28 days to make a decision on the application of The Board of Cricket Control in Cricket India-BCCI at the virtual meeting. India has been asked to take a decision on the 26th of this month.

A special general meeting of the BCCI held last week decided that it would take more than a month to announce the hosting of the World Cup. According to him, India applied to the ICC for a month at the virtual meeting.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Member Secretary Joy Shah were present at the virtual meeting. They applied to the ICC on behalf of India for the World Cup. If it is not possible to host the World Cup in India, the UAE will be the venue for this year’s T20 World Cup.

Before the World Cup, India will host the rest of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE Cricket Board has set a deadline of September 10 to host the IPL. If the World Cup is held in the United Arab Emirates, then India will be the host country.
