Faf du Plessis Becomes Captain the Bengal Tigers in the T10 League
The 2021 edition of the Abu Dhabi T-10 League will be held in November this year. Former Proteas captain Faf du Plessis will captain the Bengal Tigers at this T10 League 2021.
Abu Dhabi T-10 League has made T-10 cricket popular. The new version of the T-10 league will be launched in November this year. The Abu Dhabi T-10 League will be held in 2021 after the World Cup and will continue till the first week of December. As always, the Bengal Tigers will be the Bangladesh-owned team in this year’s event.
Faf du Plessis has been selected as the icon cricketer of Bengal Tigers for this year’s event. He will also be the captain.
The batsman has also led South Africa in international cricket. Du Plessis has played 69 Tests, 143 ODIs, and 50 T20Is for the Proteas. Despite saying goodbye to international cricket, he is still a regular face in franchise cricket.
Du Plessis said he is looking forward to playing for the Bengal Tigers. He said, ‘I am eager to play for the Bengal Tigers on the field with the help of the best stars. Hope to have an exciting time. I can’t wait to play here. ‘
The fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T-10 League will be held in November. The duration of the tournament has been extended on the occasion of the 50th National Day of the United Arab Emirates.
It has been decided to hold the tournament right after the World Cup to ensure the presence of international stars in the Abu Dhabi T-10 League.
