Mohammad Nawaz Test Corona Positive Ahead of Pakistan vs New Zealand Series 2021
Pakistan will play ODI and T20 series against New Zealand at home. Pakistani spinner Mohammad Nawaz, test positive for Corona and is currently in isolation for 10 days due to positive Coronavirus. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sampled the cricketers’ corona ahead of the series against the Kiwis at home. This is where Mohammad Nawaz’s corona test results came in positive.
Although Nawaz was attacked by Corona, the results of the rest of the cricketers were negative. So the rest of the cricketers will be able to practice from Friday (September 10). The New Zealand cricket team is currently in Bangladesh to play a five-match T20 series. After playing the last match of the series on Friday, the Kiwis will leave Dhaka for Pakistan on Saturday (September 11).
After 18 long years, New Zealand is going to Pakistan to play a bilateral series. The last time the Kiwis played a bilateral series on Pakistani soil was in 2003. New Zealand will play the first ODI series in Pakistan. The three-match ODI series will start on September 17 this year. Then the five-match T20 series will start from September 25.
