New Zealand Tour of Pakistan 2021, PCB Allow Vaccinated Spectators in Pakistan vs New Zealand Series 2021
New Zealand will tour Pakistan in September 2021 to play a three-match ODI and a five-match T20 series. The Pakistan Cricket Board PCB is bringing the vaccinated spectators back to the field in Pakistan vs New Zealand 2021 series.
Pakistan’s National Command and Operations Center said in a statement that 25 percent of the spectators were allowed on the field. If all goes well, four and a half thousand fans will be allowed to enter the field in the ODI series. A maximum of five and a half thousand spectators will be able to enter the T20 series.
New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan will start from August 16 this year. The two teams will start the series with an ODI match. The last two ODIs of the series will be held on September 19 and 21.
The five-match T20 series between the two teams will be played from September 25 this year. The last T20 match of the series will be held on October 3. All matches in the series will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Wasim Khan, chief executive of the PCB, said, “The spectators are the lifeblood of the sport. Players perform well with their inspiration. We thank the NCOC for allowing 25 percent access in eight matches.
Only those who have been vaccinated will have the opportunity to watch the game on the field. The chief executive of the PCB thinks that the entry of spectators into the field will encourage them to take the vaccine.
“I am sure cricket fans who have not yet been vaccinated will be encouraged to do so,” he said. This is the first time since 2003 that the two teams will be able to see a fight at home if they get vaccinated.
