IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals Signed Tabraiz Shamsi for the Rest of the Indian Premier League

Rajasthan Royals have signed South African left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi. Tabraiz Shamsi will play for Rajasthan Royals in the rest of the IPL 2021 in the United Arab Emirates. Tabraiz Shamsi is currently the top bowler in the ICC T20 rankings. The franchise has confirmed the news of Shamsi’s inclusion in the team.

Tabraiz Shamsi, who has recently been successful in 20-over cricket, was part of the IPL in 2016. He played 4 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore and got 3 wickets. This is the second replacement of Rajasthan Royals for the rest of the IPL. Earlier, they dragged New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips to the Royal Camp.

Mustafizur Rahman’s Rajasthan Royals are not getting the services of Jofre Archer, Jos Butler, and Ben Stokes in the rest of the IPL. Australia’s Andrew Tye is also missing.

The IPL will start again on September 19 with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Rajasthan Royals will play their 7th match against Punjab Kings on September 21.
