IPL 2021: RCB Signed George Garton for the Rest of the Indian Premier League
Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB have signed George Garton for the rest of the IPL 2021 to be held in the United Arab Emirates. With Garton, Bangalore has met the quota of 8 foreign cricketers. Earlier, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chamira, and Singapore’s David were included in the squad as replacements.

Bangalore was forced to replace more than one cricketer. New Zealand’s Finn Allen and Scott Kugelin have come to play a five-match T20 series against Bangladesh. Australia’s Adam Jampa, Daniel Sams, and Kane Richardson have also said they will not play in the rest of the IPL 2021.
Garton took 10 wickets in 9 matches at The Hundred, averaging 23. He took 9 wickets in 6 matches in the T20 Blast at an average of 18.6 and an economy of 6.50. He has taken 44 wickets in 38 matches in his T20 career.
The IPL will start again on September 19 with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Royal Challengers Bangalore will play their 7th match against Kolkata Knight Riders on September 20.
