Scotland Squad For T20 World Cup 2021 Announced

Scotland has announced their squad for this year’s T20 World Cup 2021. Where two cricketers with 15 members of the main team have been kept on standby. However, they have hinted that the Scotland Cricket Board will make changes to the original squad before 10 October.

Experienced Kyle Quetzer will lead Scotland in the T20 World Cup 2021. In addition to him in the squad are Richie Barrington, Colm McLeod, Saifan Sharif, Matthew Cross, and Ally Evans. Cricketers like Jos Davy, Mitchell Lesk, George Munshi, and Mark Watt, who are in the squad for the 2018 T20 World Cup, are in the squad. For the first time, 6 cricketers got a chance in the squad.

Along with Dylan Base, Chris Graves, Oli Harris, Chris Soul, Hamza Tahir, Craig Valence, and Brad Howell have been named to the World Cup squad for the first time. Scotland will play in Group B of the World Cup qualifiers. Their group mates there are Bangladesh, Oman, and Papua New Guinea. Bangladesh is the opponent of Scotland’s first match.
