Kolkata Knight Riders: Tim Southee Replaces Pat Cummins in IPL 2021
In the second round of the IPL 2021 starting from September 19, Kolkata Knight Riders have included New Zealand’s Tim Southee replaces Pat Cummins in PL 2021.
Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Pat Cummins will not be able to play in the rest of the IPL 2021 due to family reasons. As a result, the franchise was forced to look for a replacement.
Southee has played a total of 40 matches in the IPL before. He has taken a total of 26 wickets for different franchises. However, after 2019, Saudi did not get a chance in this great league. The Kiwi pacer played for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Southee was wicketless in their last match against the Punjab Kings at Bangalore.
Saudi has played 72 matches in the International Twenty20 so far. Took 99 wickets. The economy is about 7:30. Meanwhile, another Australian, Andrew Tai, has withdrawn from the rest of the IPL for personal reasons. Rajasthan Royals have replaced South African Chinaman Tabarez Shamsi in the squad. The IPL will start again on September 19 with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
