Disney+ Hotstar secured exclusive digital media rights for the ICC T20 World Cup Warm Up Matches in the USA. Alongside Hotstar, Willow TV provides coverage of all warm-up matches in the United States and Canada.
Fox Sports is the official broadcast partner for the ICC T20 World Cup Warm Up Matches scheduled to commence from 10 – 19 October in Australia. Moreover, Foxtel App and Kayo Sports exclusively live stream the tournament matches on its digital platform with a premium subscription.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is to commence on October 16th till November 13th, 2022 originally hosted by Australia. A total of 16 teams take a part in the tournament competing in a total of 45 matches to be called the Champions.
According to ICC, eight teams will participate in the warm-up matches before the mega-event starts. Various TV channels purchased the official broadcasting rights for the T20 World Cup Live all over the globe.
The ICC confirmed that the 16 teams’ training matches will take place in Melbourne and Brisbane. The teams competing in the first round of the event will play practice matches between October 10 and October 13.
Melbourne Cricket Ground and Junction Oval Stadium are slated to host the practice matches. From October 17 to 19, the teams who have qualified for the Super 12 round of the World Cup are slated to play practice matches in Brisbane.
Sri Lanka’s first practice match will take place on October 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium against the Zimbabwean squad. The Sri Lankan team is slated to meet Ireland in a second training match at Junction Oval Stadium on October 13.
